Investing in some type of enclosure for your trampoline is a very wise decision for the usage of your trampoline long term. In order to purchase the proper trampoline enclosure, you will need to know the size of your trampoline, as well as which type of enclosure will best suit your needs.

The first thing you will need to do when searching for an enclosure for your trampoline is to find out the size of the trampoline. The size of a round trampoline is determined by the diameter of not the jumping surface, but the actual metal frame. To find out the size, start at the metal edge of the trampoline and measure straight across the middle to the opposite side of the metal frame.

The most common sizes of traditional round trampolines come in sizes 8, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 15. For each trampoline however, there are several different enclosure types to choose from. Knowing the differences will help you select the right model for your needs.

The first trampoline enclosure option is a net for a straight pole system with straps. This system is arguably the most common type of enclosure you will encounter. This model, uses straight poles with a plastic cap on top where the strap runs through in order to fasten it to the pole itself.

The second option to choose from is the net for a straight pole system with sleeves. This system ensures that the jumpers have the most amount of room possible because the next it outside of the metal frame, rather than jus the jumping surface. This model has a sleeve sewn into the side of the net for each pole.

Another choice for trampoline enclosure nets is the net made for top pole enclosures. While every enclosure uses poles, come of them are extra curved so it forms a ring around the top of the enclosure net. The net then connects to the ring and this net resides outside of the protective pad.

The fourth choice for an enclosure is a net for arched poles with straps. This type of enclosure system has the frame of the next made out of poles that arch instead of stay straight, connecting the poles to one another. The net is then connected to the poles by straps and encloses the jumping area.

The fifth and final option for a trampoline enclosure is a net for an arched pole system with sleeves.  On this model, the net is attached to pole by sleeves that the poles slide into. This is just one alternative to attaching the net to the poles by velcro straps. This system secures the net better than the velcro strap option as well. Once this system is set up, the net encloses the jumping surface as the pole reside outside of the metal frame.
